Check-in and Check-out Times: Check-in time is from 4pm and check-out time is at 10am. Please inform us in advance if you’d like some flexibility on these arrangements.

Breakfast (fully catered option): Complimentary breakfast is served daily from 7:30am to 9am. Enjoy a variety of French pastries, fruit, cereal, and cooked breakfast options to start your day.

Lunch (fully catered option): cooked lunch is not provided however we supply a daily selection of healthy snacks which we can pack for you to take to the mountains.

Afternoon Snack (fully catered option): between 4-5pm you can enjoy a selection of patisseries and sweet treats, served with hot chocolate, tea & coffee.

Dinner (fully catered option): during a 7-night stay, our resident chef will prepare dinner on 5 nights. Dinner is served between 7-8:30pm.

Cinema Night: the Cinema Room is available at all times however, we suggest one evening to be a dedicated Cinema Night. On this occasion, a buffet dinner will be prepared, as well as fresh popcorn & other cinema treats, to make your evening even more special. This is entirely optional if your booking is on a fully catered basis, and can be discussed directly with the chef on arrival.

Special diets: we cater for special diets and allergies. Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive relevant documentation to fill in.

Beverages: speciality teas, coffees, and hot chocolates are included throughout your stay (fully catered option). Soft drinks, wines, beers, champagne and liqueurs are available for purchase on-site as part of our Drinks Package, at very reasonable prices.

Quiet Hours: between 10:00-4pm our chalet staff are busy with preparation and daily logistics, therefore unavailable for front-of-house duties. In case of emergency they can still be contacted on the number provided to you upon arrival.

Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Chalet Khione. Should we have evidence of any smoking indoors, a cleaning fee of €500 will be deducted from the security deposit. Cigarettes and vapes are permitted outdoors.

Housekeeping (fully catered option): Daily cleaning is provided in the shared spaces. (lounges, cinema room, toilets, boot room…) During a 7-night stay, mid-week housekeeping is also provided in all bathrooms and bedrooms.

Towels and Linens: these are provided on arrival. Fresh towels are re-supplied during the midweek housekeeping service (fully catered option).

Sauna and Hot Tub: Please follow rules provided by our chalet staff for usage.

Laundry: our laundry room features two Miele washing machines and tumble dryers for your use during your stay.

Parking: Complimentary parking is provided. Please park in designated areas.

Wi-Fi: Free wifi connection is available throughout the chalet.

Airport transfers (fully catered option): we will meet & greet you at Geneva airport on arrival and transfer you to Chalet Khione. On departure day, we will drop you off at Geneva airport. Please note that this is a complimentary service that we offer, however it is at the clients’ own risk. We will not be held liable in case of accident or emergency or missed flights.

Shuttle service (fully catered option): we offer a shuttle service to Chamonix using our own ID Buzz. Please make arrangements directly with the chalet team. Please note that this is a complimentary service we offer, however we accept no responsibility in the event of accident or emergency.

Booking resort services (fully catered option): we take care of this for you; from booking ski lessons to organising a day of heli-skiing with the best instructors (or anything else you require). After your booking has been confirmed, our chalet team will contact you so you can make requests directly with us, and we take care of the rest.

Babysitting: we can arrange this for you, please provide as much notice as possible.

Emergency Procedures: you will be briefed by our chalet team on arrival.

Conduct: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner. Any disruptive behaviour may result in eviction without refund.

Animals: no animal can be brought to Chalet Khione without prior written consent.

Tourist Tax: a local tourist tax is payable in cash on arrival. This is dictated by the Chamonix Local Authority and is in the region of €4 per person per day.

Payment: Payment is required prior to arrival, according to the following schedule: *deposit: 20% of total booking value in order to confirm your booking *balance: the remaining 80% of total booking value must be paid no later than 60 days prior to check-in date.

Payment method: payment can be made using the secure online method or by bank transfer.

Refund Policy: Refunds for cancellations made prior to check-in will be provided according to the following schedule: *up to 120 days prior to check-in date: full refund *119 to 90 days: 75% refund *89 to 60 days: 50% refund *less than 60 days prior: sorry, no refund We strongly advise you take out travel insurance, should your circumstances change, and you need to cancel your booking with us at Chalet Khione .

Security Deposit: a security deposit of €2000 is payable on arrival. This is to cover any breakages or damage to the property. We reserve the right to charge the full cost of repairs, should the damage / breakages caused exceed the deposit amount. The deposit (less any damage deductions) will be refunded to you at time of checkout.

Inventory: a full inventory will be provided to you on arrival. This includes the furniture and fittings of Chalet Khione as well as the condition of every room. We urge you to review and sign this document within 8 hours of arrival as it forms the basis of the security deposit.
