Check-in and Check-out Times: Check-in time is from 4pm and check-out time is at 10am. Please inform us in advance if you’d like some flexibility on these arrangements.

Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Chalet Khione. Should we have evidence of any smoking indoors, a cleaning fee of €500 will be deducted from the security deposit. Cigarettes and vapes are permitted outdoors.

Towels and Linens: These are provided on arrival.

Sauna and Hot Tub: Please follow instructions and rules provided in the welcome book.

Laundry: Our laundry room features two Miele washing machines and tumble dryers for your use during your stay.

Parking: Complimentary parking is provided. Please park in designated areas.

Wi-Fi: Free wifi connection is available throughout the chalet.

Emergency Contacts: Details available in our information booklet provided on arrival.

Conduct: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner. Any disruptive behaviour may result in eviction without refund.

Animals: No animals can be brought to Chalet Khione without prior written consent.

Tourist Tax: A local tourist tax is payable in cash on arrival. This is dictated by the Chamonix Local Authority and is in the region of €4 per person per day.

Payment: Payment is required prior to arrival, according to the following schedule: 1. Deposit: 20% of total booking value in order to confirm your booking. 2. Balance: the remaining 80% of total booking value must be paid no later than 60 days prior to check-in date.

Payment method: Payment can be made using the secure online method or by bank transfer.

Refund Policy: Refunds for cancellations made prior to check-in will be provided according to the following schedule:

*up to 120 days prior to check-in date: full refund

*119 to 90 days: 75% refund

*89 to 60 days: 50% refund

*less than 60 days prior: sorry, no refund

We strongly advise you take out travel insurance, should your circumstances change and you need to cancel your booking with us.

Security Deposit: A security deposit of €2000 must be paid no later than 2 weeks prior to check-in date. This is to cover any breakages or damage to the property. We reserve the right to charge the full cost of repairs, should the damage / breakages caused exceed the deposit amount. The deposit (less any damage deductions) will be refunded to you at time of checkout.

Please report any breakages, damage or items not working within the first 24 hours of arrival. If nothing is reported within this time frame, we will assume that everything is in good order.

If you do cause any damage to the property, we would appreciate that you report it to us as soon as possible. Thank you.
